We are working to resolve some issues with assets and purchasing systems.
Twinity release notes sent
Release notes for last Wednesday’s update to Twinity have been sent to the Twinity-beta mailing list.
If you’re part of the beta, but not on the mailing list and want to be, either post a comment here, or email me at jeremy (at) metaversum dot com, and I’ll add you to the list.
[Operations] Twinity update tonight
Just a reminder that Twinity will be offline for most of the night tonight for the installation of the latest update.
Twinity on Virtual Worlds Connect
We will be introducing forums on www.twinity.com in the next little bit, but until then, you can have a look at discussions started by a few beta members on Virtual Worlds Connect.
[Operations] Twinity update tomorrow
Please be aware that Twinity will be offline tomorrow, Wednesday January 9 from 1600 (4 PM) CET (GMT+1, Berlin time) until Thursday morning at 0800 (8 AM) for an update. After the maintenance time, updates will be automatically downloaded for you. Release notes will follow.
[Support] In-world send feedback mechanism not working
Dear Twinity customers,
Please be informed that our in-world Send Feedback button is currently not working. Unfortunately, you will not receive an error message but your feedback will not reach us. We have an update for Twinity coming tomorrow that will fix this. In the meantime, please contact us directly via email at support (at) twinity dot com, or in-world. Look for Twinity support team members wearing Twinity support t-shirts.
Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience,
jeremy
Twinity on Second Life Record
Prokofy Neva has another post on Twinity on the Second Life Record. I think most of the observations about functionality are very fair, and we are working on making sure that the naming thing is clearer in Twinity. In fact, now you can change your display name through www.twinity.com. Other technical challenges are natural for us given where we are, early in our beta. We hope that we will be able to keep improving Twinity for you.
Back from the holidays
All customer support and community teams are back in the office. We had a great end of year break, and we hope you did as well!
We’re leaving the poll open for a few more weeks to get a general feel of what people think about the Twinity beta. Let the beta continue!!!
Limited customer support coverage over the holidays
Note that customer support will have limited coverage on December 24 and December 31. We will not have customer support coverage on December 25, December 26 or January 1.
Happy holidays!
Reminder: Twinity Christmas party today
Just a quick reminder that our Christmas party will be today at 5PM CET (1700 CET = Berlin, Paris, Brussels, etc). Hope to see you there!
