APEC 2009
2009 marks Singapore’s turn as host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (or APEC), the intergovernmental grouping that seeks to facilitate economic growth, cooperation, trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region. Twinity is currently hosting a multimedia showcase of the event. This event is closed to the public, and this is exclusive access in Twinity!!!
You can visit all of this in Twinity, at the Suntec Convention Centre, which is now open in Virtual Singapore in Twinity!

It’s a busy week in Twinity, with the Berlin Wall broadcasting and coverage. There’s also the APEC Summit, that will be virtually hosted in Twinity. You’ll hear more about that from us soon, but ChannelNewsAsia has already started the coverage.
The Singapore Showcase experience will also be available on a virtual platform – Virtual Singapore in Twinity. It is available here and will feature the APEC 2009 Leaders’ Week by creating an immersive, multi-user experience for its members through the use of embedded video and 3D models of key content developed specially for the project.
