Closing the last poll “Are things improving in Twinity?”

We’re closing the current poll, “Are things improving in Twinity?“. You can see the results below.
[poll=19] The results are fairly encouraging for us, both from the number of voters and the outcome. But, we want to do even better. You will have seen from the posts from the R&D team that there are a number of improvements coming. So we’ll be opening a new pool shortly to ask for more help in targeting other areas for attention.

[Operations] Twinity update May 14, 2009

Dear Twinizens,

We just wanted to let you know that we’ve released a new patch today. When you restart the client, the patch will start automatically. This update includes the following:

– Fixed: Teleporting to Berlin errors that some have been receiving recently (arriving in a walled area)
– Fixed: Preview for photos when placing in frames
– Changed default texture setting to High rather than Auto detect. Should this setting slow the performance dramatically, you may need to go to “System -> Display -> Texture Quality” in the client and select a lower setting
– Fixed: Closing of open windows after teleporting to a new location
– Fixed: Access setting “Friends only” was not working properly

Thanks,
Craig
