We just wanted to let you know about the small patch we implemented today. The patch will run and update your client after you restart. This update includes the following:
– Implemented QuickTime for video streaming (does not affect videos in browsers)
– Fixed bug with “Go” button (did not work as expected from “Events” window)
– Fixed some issues related to space search where some locations were not found

Koinup has a nice post on Twinity pictures.
Twinity is a growing and fashinating virtual world. Graphics, Textures and builds looks really well done and beautiful. It seems that the inworld quality is improving each week.
They have also enabled the Twinity postcard feature, allowing members to take snapshots and share by email to friends.

The release of Sony Pictures’ Angels & Demons will cause a commotion in 3D Berlin over the mysterious order of the Illuminati. From 22 April to 20 May 2009 new movie scenes and background material will be revealed on a weekly basis to the public at the CineStar Cubix.

The ‘Send Postcard’ functionality in Twinity is actually easy to use, but doesn’t allow you to hide the interface yet. But, so far, it’s well done. A valuable addition to Twinity, in my opinion.

There will be a small update to Twinity today at 14:15 to 14:45 (CET) and we just wanted to let you know beforehand. Please be aware that you may become disconnected from the client during that timeframe. This update includes the following:
– Fixes the disappearance of outside environment when high texture setting is selected
– Fixes blurred view for signs when low texture setting selected
– Fixes error with “Send Feedback” from the client
– Fixes access problems for apartments (selection not saved)
